Some businesspersons, locals, and youths of Janakpur, on July 5, blocked the road at ward number 16 of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolis, citing their dissatisfaction over the inaction of the local government in the upgrading of the road. The condition of the road connecting Orahi, Sabaila, Yadukuha, Tinkauriya and Siraha in the eastern part of Dhanusha is bad and the potholes of up to four feet are formed, causing problems in transportation even during light rain, said local Rajiv Sah.
