Journalists have staged a demonstration at Babarmahal in Kathmandu on Friday demanding professional security for working journalists who were in trouble during the coronavirus pandemic. Various media organizations attended the demonstration, led by the Federation of Nepali Journalists.

Participants in the demonstration carried placards related to the professional security of journalists. The placards carried slogans such as "Protect the professional rights of working journalists,", "Fully implement the Working Journalist Act," and "Let's do a decisive movement in favor of working journalists".
