Five people, including a woman, were injured on July 8 in a dispute over the formation of a consumer committee to spend Rs 10 million allocated by the province government for the construction and building of dams in Bara, Jitpur Sub-Metropolis-24, Harpur tole. Local Jabiullah Ansari said that the Consumer's Committee was secretly formed on July 7, Tuesday night to freeze the budget and dispute arose after the locals inquired about it. After the incident, the victims lodged a complaint and action would be taken accordingly, according to Bara Police Spokesperson Gautam Mishra.
