Hundreds of Locals of Dhunibesi Municipality of Dhading are agitated and staged a protest on July 12 against the purchase of land without fulfilling proper criteria of the municipality for the benefit of a few people. They handed over the protest letter with 5,000 signatures to Deputy Chief of Dhunibesi Municipality Niru Kharel which states that the municipality secretly bought land at a place called Kapurbase, near to the Machhindranath Community Forest saying it is Jugedi centre, without posting a public notice.

Gap Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and CG Print and Packaging Pvt. Ltd. jointly purchased 3 ropani areas of plot number 1252  and 5 ropani area of plot number 1249 of Nauvise Village Development Committee ward-4 for 2 million 60 thousand rupees per ropani .
