Youths unable to go to South Korea even after completing the Employment Permit System process staged a protest in Maitighar, Kathmandu on July 14 complaining that the government had not taken any action. The protesters demanded to be sent to South Korea as soon as possible and their employment is ensured.
Due to the pandemic, more than 4,000 Nepali workers who have passed the Korean language test under EPS and have been selected as employers have not been able to go to Korea.
