A young man of Simta Rural Municipality-8, who had returned from India and was staying in the quarantine since two weeks at Bageshwori Secondary School of Simta-6, was beaten by Sub-Inspector of Police, Vijay Pun, on July 13. He was corona infected and was beaten under the pretext of trying to flee after he tried to go home with his friends. According to the victim's brother, he broke his left arm in the beating. Police beat him as he was little out of the quarantine.
