The Independent Employees' Union padlocked the administrative section of the Nepal Medical College Teaching Hospital, Jorpati on July 16 protesting against the dismissal of contracted employees amidst this pandemic since July 15. In addition to issuing a statement, they staged the protest against the hospital administration and demanded the reinstatement of the employees as soon as possible.
