The engineer of Purbachauki Rural municipality of Doti Shankar Raj Khanal has been beaten by Dev Bahadur Khadka, the chairman of the Saraswati Higher Secondary School Sanagaun Drinking Water consumer committee over a dispute about a project under the MP Fund. In a statement signed by the acting chief administrative officer of the Rural Municipality Tek Bahadur Khadka, it is mentioned that the Chairman Khadka assaulted victim in the office on Thursday afternoon and condemned the incident demanding strict action against the perpetrators of the incident. 

Engineer Khanal complained that the accused actions such as assaulting technicians, threatening and abusing him in the office had lowered his morale and increased his mental stress.
