Farmers staged a demonstration at ward office of  Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan city Ward-2 with ploughs demanding the government to provide chemical fertilizers as soon as possible as paddy plants could not grow due to lack of urea manure and have started turning yellow.

During the protest, they chanted slogans like 'Provide chemical urea fertilizer to farmers', 'Provide fertilizer to prevent wastage of farmers' labour ',' Investigate irregularities in farmers 'relief grants'.
