Nepal Students Union (NSU), a student wing of the Nepali Congress, clashed with police during a protest in front of District Administration Office in Parsa breaking prohibition order. Police arrested Vikas Tiwari, Sheikh Hazra and Manoj Shah of NSU. There was a scuffle between the NSU cadres and the police in front of the gate of the district administration office. The NSU staged a sit-in in Birgunj demanding six points agreement saying that the people are dying without any treatment and demanded the provision of health supplies, doctors and services to normalized the situation during the pandemic
Parsa Police Spokesperson DSP Manojit Kunwar said that three members of the group who went to blockade the District Administration Office are taken under control.
