Citing spiking cases of coronavirus pandemic, District corona crisis management center Pyuthan has enforced a lockdown in the District till August 31, effective from Tuesday midnight.
The DCCMC meeting held on Tuesday afternoon has decided to enforce lockdown and get all offices, banks and financial institutions, trade and business in lockdown period. The restriction, however, will not apply to the vehicles offering essential services like the ones related with the supply of drinking water, health care services, press and more.
District Administration Office, Pyuthan said, ‘ strong action will be taken according to the law if the restriction is not followed properly.’
