Youth accused of raping 9-year-old girl arrested in Kaski

Kaski police have arrested a youth from Syangja on a charge of raping a 9-year-old girl in Pokhara. The youth was arrested from Miruwa of Syangja where he escaped from Pokhara after the victim's family lodged a complaint against him on Sunday.
According to DSP Subhash Hamal, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Kaski, the accused is currently in the custody of the District Police Office.
Police are conducting further investigation.
