7 persons were injured during a clash between a group led by chairperson of ward 6 in Gujara Municipality of Rautahat Sakil Ansari and locals on Tuesday night. The clash ensued after Ward chairperson Sakil took out a rally of 20 motorcycles to celebrate his recovery from Covid-19. Locals angered by the ward chairpersons defiance of prohibitory order pelted stones at the rally. A large number of police were deployed to take the situation into control.
