A complaint was filed against Mohammad Sahadat (20) of Surunga Municipality-5 in accusation of attempting to rape a 19-year-old woman. The victim was abused on September 15 and the complaint was filed at the Area Police Office.

The victim had lodged the complaint on September 18 but it was registered on September 20, 2020, only after a proper investigation regarding the incident.

Health checkup of the victim was conducted on September 18 at the Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital. The accused had absconded after the incident, therefore search is ongoing.
