Locals of Nawarajpur Rural Municipality-4 in Siraha picketed Jhajhapatti police post demanding the release of local youth, Sanjiv Kumar Yadav on the charge of organizing a dance program. Jhajhapatti police post arrested Yadav and sent him to Area Police Office Laxmipur Patari. Janata Samajbadi Party local leader Shiva Udagar Yadav accused the police of entering houses and beating women and children. He also refuted that any dance program was organized.
Meanwhile, inspector Arvind Kumar Sah said that they arrested one person for organizing dance program against the prohibitory order issued by the local administration to prevent the spread of Covid-19. He also accused the people of pelting stones at the police team which reached there.
