Part-time professors of Patan United Campus under Tribhuvan University padlocked the campus administration with the demands of repealing the directive, stopping the introduction of self-interested policies and regulations, treating part-time professors and permanent staff equally.  

The directive issued by the university on August 17 mentions that the issues raised by the part-time professors will not be addressed but will be replaced.
