According to the Area Police Office, Khajuri, half a dozen people have been injured in a clash that took place at around 4 pm in Kamala Municipality-4, East Dhanusha.
On Wednesday afternoon, September 30, during the public hearing program of the income and expenditure of the ward, some youths (drug abusers) of the village came and started beating chairperson with sticks. After the dispute escalated, the two sides clashed that left locals on both sides injured. The injured have been identified as 50-year-old-Boulal Kawari, son of Ward Chairman Kawari and Badre Alam, son of Kawari. The Police has arrested one person and has released one person.
Meanwhile, the District Police Office, Dhanusha said that this was only a general dispute. The injured are being treated at the Provincial Hospital, Janakpur.
