Man arrested on charge of beating and injuring woman in Lalitpur

Police arrested 32-year-old Birendra Malla of Kirtipur in Kathmandu on Wednesday afternoon on a charge of beating and injuring a 33-year-old woman. Malla was arrested by the on-duty police after receiving information about a woman being injured in the beating in Lalitpur Municipality-4. The injured woman is undergoing treatment at Sumeru City Hospital, Pulchowk. Police are conducting further investigation on this regard.
