Over 300 employees of Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital staged a protest demanding the salaries of October, September and also the allowance for Dashain. They staged a two-hour strike on Tuesday, October 20. Earlier on Monday, October 19 they had stopped the services for half an hour and started the rally with slogans.
Chairperson of the Employees Welfare Association Shivaram Dhakhwa warned that if the demands are not fulfilled, they would shut all services except OPD down from Wednesday, October 21.
