Complaint against the accused in the rape incident in Saptari

The victim's mother lodged a complaint against 23-year-old Gyan Kumar of Tirhut Rural Municipality-3 at the Area Police Office, Kanchanrup on October 26 on the charge of raping her 17-year-old daughter. The accused raped the girl on October 24. The search for the absconding accused is on according to the police.
The victim underwent medical examination at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital, Rajbiraj on October 25.
