The victim's mother has lodged a complaint against 20-year-old Raghubir Yadav of Mithila Bihari Municipality-6 at the District Police Office on October 29 accusing him of abducting a 16-year-old girl and sexually abusing her.

The victim told the INSEC representative that she was taken to Birgunj from her house on October 17 and sexually abused. 

It is alleged that Yadav took the victim to Birgunj on October 17 by giving fake promise to marry her and sexually abused her. 

ASI Deepika Ojha of the District Police Office said that the accused would be arrested and action would be taken against him for sexually abusing the victim. 

The girl has been examined at the Provincial Hospital, Janakpur on October 29
