The teachers of Samata School, Aattariya, Kailali, padlocked the school saying that they have not paid one year’s salary. Sixteen female teachers working in the school have complained that the school administration has not paid them for a year. They have demanded that the 16 teachers working in the school should be paid their full salaries by November 10 and the arbitrariness of the school principal need to be stopped and there should be transparency in the school.
They also claimed that they will not allow operating the school until they meet their demand. Meanwhile, the principal of the school Ritu Pandey said that they could not pay the teachers as the salary was not released from the center.
