A complaint was lodged against 40-year-old Dev Bahadur Damai of Kohalpur Municipality-11 on November 9, alleging him of holding a 33-year-old woman hostage and trying to traffic her.
According to the complaint, the accused took the victim to India on August 29 and sold her, saying that he would send her to Israel for foreign employment. The victim came to Nepal by fleeing from India secretly.
