Ram Ayodhya Sah Teli of Madhavnarayan Municipality-7, Loukaha and his wife Sita Devi have been accused for planning the murder their own 17-year-old daughter Amrita Sah by hiring contractors to kill her. Amrita was shot dead on November 11 by the contract killers.
Amrita and her neighbor Sosindra Bhagat had a love affair for the last three years but the parents had forcibly married Amrita to another person . Shortly afterwards, her husband Rupesh Sah was attacked with a sharp weapon. In the incident, Rupesh's family had registered a case against Amrita and her boyfriend Sosindra Bhagat at the District Police Office, Sarlahi.
After the incident, Amrita had been living in her family home in Loukaha and her parents were worried that Amrita would run away with her boyfriend and lose her dignity in the society.
Police have arrested and made public the accused mother, father and five others involved in the murder at a press conference held at the District Police Office, Rautahat on Nov. 30. The arrested apart from the parents are 60-year-old Sheikh Alias of Dewahi Gonahi Municipality-2, Karuniya Laxminia, 40-year-old Islam Ansari, 35-year-old Sheikh Intaz, 50-year-okd Kamul Dewan and 45-year-old Chhotelal Sah of Paroha Municipality-4.
