Province 1, Jhapa, Bhadrapur, Ward 6
Dust-affected locals obstructed the road (1.5-kilometer centenary road connecting Bhadrapur Municipality-6 and 7) by planting bamboo since December 3 demanding construction of blacktop roads and daily water supply. They drew the attention of the local government and said that the the locals' health had been affected due to the excessive dust rising from the road.
The government had allocated Rs 200 crore under the Intensive Urban Development Program for upgrading roads within Bhadrapur Municipality. However, the locals of the area have become victims as the Municipality did not come up with the plan for the busy road connecting the district headquarters.
