Janata Samajwadi Party leaders staged an hour sit-in in front of the Kunauli border on Sunday, demanding the government to open the Nepal-India border. The sit-in protest was organized under the banner of Nepal-India Open Border Dialogue Group.
Manish Kumar Suman, Central Executive Member and Member of Parliament from Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), Gajendra Kumar Mandal, Central Member of JSP Nepal and Central Member of Nepal-India Open Border Dialogue Group, Shambhu Yadav, Mayor of Rajbiraj Municipality, Satish Kumar Singh, Chairman of Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality , JSP district president Sunil Kumar Jha, leader Gudu Deb and others were present in the sit-in program.
The coordinator of the sit-in program Roshan Yadav said that they will continue the indefinite sit-in program from December 9 until the government fully opens the border.
