Police have arrested 20-year-old Altaf Musalman  of Shivaraj Municipality-4, Karmadi, Kapilbastu, on the charge of murdering 16-year-old Dipa Roka  Shivaraj-3, Kapilbastu. The arrested accused was made public by the police at a press conference on Thursday.

Roka went out of contact on December 26. Her dead body was found in Jawai river two days later. According to Chief Superintendent of Police Nawaraj Adhikari of the District Police Office, Kapilvastu, the accused confessed to Dipa's murder.
