Health workers stage sit-in in Siraha demanding salary and allowance

Health workers and technicians staged a sit-in at the district hospital in Siraha seeking wages and compensation for working at the risk of coronavirus infection. They mentioned that they began the agitation because they hadn't been paid five months' salary and allowance.

Nine medical officers, HAs, AHWs, staff nurses, ANMIs, laboratory technicians, spray technicians, office assistants, drivers and 66 others under Siraha District Hospital were not paid their salaries, food and accommodation in hotels.
