Police have arrested 30-year-old Hari Devkota of Dangisharan Rural Municipality-7, Dang, on January 17, on the charge of attempting to rape a 22-year-old girl. The victim’s side had lodged a complaint at Area Police Office, Tulshipur, Dang, on January 17, alleging, that the accused tried to rape the victim on January 16. DSP Shiva Bahadur Dangi said they were investigating upon the accused based on the complaint.

Health check-up of the victim was conducted ar Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulshipur, on January 17.
