Man arrested on charge of rape

Police have arrested 29-year-old Suman Ghimire of Mechinagar Municipality-1, Jhapa, on Wednesday, on the charge of raping a 27-year-old woman. A team of police deployed from Tiringkhola police station arrested the accused on a basis of information that he had raped the victim on Sunday afternoon. Further investigation upon the incident is underway.
