Man arrested on the charge of rape attempt in Saptari

Police have arrested 26-year-old Naresh Mukhiya Mallaha of Rupani Rural Municipality-3, Saptari, on Saturday, on the charge of attempting to rape a woman. Mallaha had been absconding since a complaint of attempt-to-rape was filed against him.
The victim lodged a complaint at District Police Office, Saptari on November 12, alleging that the accused tried to rape her on October 22, 2020.
