A complaint was lodged at District Police Office, Banke, on February 7 against 21-year-old Javed Halwai of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan-21, Banke, on the allegation of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl. According to the victim’s family, the accused sexually abused and beat the victim on January 29 by taking her to a hotel. Ishwor Giri, Inspector of the District Police Office, informed that search for the accused is underway. The victim underwent a medical check-up at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj on January 30.
