Hoteliers and tourism entrepreneurs staged an hour sit-in at Belahiya to pressure the government to open the border checkpoints connected to India that has been closed for a year now due to the Corona pandemic.
They stated that the sit-in would be held at Belahiya every day until the government fully opens the Nepal-India border checkpoints as there has been no response from the concerned bodies even after submitting the memorandum.
