All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) has staged a protest and sit-in in front of oil corporations on Thursday against the government for increasing fuel prices twice within a span of a week.
The Nepal Oil Corporation had last increased the price of diesel, petrol, kerosene and domestic aviation fuel by Rs 2 per litre on February 16. Prior to that, the price of cooking gas was increased by Rs 25 per cylinder and petrol and diesel by Rs 2 per litre on February 10. Consumers have been affected by the price hike in fuel including cooking gas.
