Police on February 20 arrested 40-year-old Mahendra Sahani of Karaiyamai Rural Municipality-5 on the charge of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl on the same day.

According to District Police Office Inspector Surendra Yadav, the accused was arrested for investigation after the victim lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on February 20, alleging that the accused had sexually abused the girl on the same day.

The minor and the accused have been examined at Kalaiya Hospital on February 20. Police are investigating the incident.
