Female student injured from headmaster's beating in Kanchanpur

Manika Nath, a grade 9th female student of Baijnath Secondary School in Matana of Bhimdatta Municipality-9 has been seriously injured after being beaten as punishment by the principal of the school Khadak Singh Bista. She has sustained injuries on her head and has been taken to the hospital for treatment. Police have arrested the principal Bista on the charge of beating. Women's rights activists have been agitated against the incident demanding investigation and action against the culprit.
