Police have arrested 55-year-old Padambahadur Oli of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan-11, Dang, on March 10, on the charge of sexually abusing a 11- and 13-year-old girls.
Students of Amar Secondary School, Urahari, held a protest in the school premises on March 10, accusing Oli, a teacher at the school of sexually abusing the victims studying at grade 6, on March 8.
The victim’s family had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Tulsipur, on March 11. DSP Shivabahadur Singh of the Area Police Office, Tulshipur, said that they had arrested the accused based on the verbal information. A Health check-up of the victim was conducted at Rapti Provincial hospital on March 10.
