Police recovered the body of 33-year-old Santoshi Shrestha Sapkota from a settlement near Balkhu Bridge in Kathmandu on March 15. The body was recovered from the backyard of her house at Balkhu and police said that she was hit with a hammer.

According to the neighbours, she used to have disputes with her husband and she was seeking divorce from him. After the incident, the husband absconded and the police are further investigating this case.
