Police arrested a 23-year-old man on the charge of raping his 14-year-old sister.

According to Inspector Jagdish Regmi of the Area Police Office, Belchautara, the accused was arrested on March 17 after receiving information that the accused had raped the victim repeatedly. The youth allegedly raped the girl the last time on March 14.

According to Inspector Regmi, the victim lodged a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Belchautara on March 18.

The victim underwent a medical examination at Damauli Hospital on March 18.
