Students padlock Far Western University against fee hike

Students of Far Western University along with seven student organizations affiliated with different political parties padlocked the accounting department of the university's central campus and barred university officials from entering the office. They also took the control of the vehicle to prevent misuse from the officials.

According to the students affiliated with the student union, most of the students could not pay the university fees due to the loss of their parents' jobs due to COVID-19. Students have been protesting against the fee hike for the past two weeks. They further announced protests and sit-ins programs, however have not obstructed the teaching in the midst of the protest program.
