The Independent Youth Society staged a protest rally against the recent demonstration at Maitighar in Kathmandu demanding the dismissal of the second Nijgadh International Airport project to be built in Nijgadh, Bara. They staged the protest to put pressure on the government to immediately start the construction work of the Nijgadh International Airport project.

Deputy Chief of Nijgadh Municipality Liladevi Lamichhane Khanal said that the construction work of Nijgadh Airport should be expedited by the Government of Nepal and the local government and locals would extend all possible support to the government.
