The victim's family padlocked the administration of Mahakali Hospital in Kanchanpur on April 9 alleging that a corona infected died due to the negligence of the hospital. 48-year-old Dal Bahadur Chand of Nimkhubeda in Bhimdatta Municipality-15 died while undergoing at the hospital on April 7.
They further demanded action against the doctors and health workers involved in the treatment. Due to the padlocking, the work of the hospital came to a standstill. Deceased Chand, who was in India for foreign employment, had just returned to Nepal. He was admitted to Mahakali Hospital on April 4 after having respiratory problems.
