A woman has been found dead inside her own house at Chhimek Bank Tole, Jitpur Simara Sub-metropolitan City-3 of the Bara district in southern Nepal on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Parvati Karki. Police suspect that she has been murdered because there was a brick near the body and there are marks of assault on her forehead and head.
On the other hand, the deceased’s husband is on the run. Suspecting his role in the incident, police have launched a manhunt to nab him.
The deceased’s sons have told police that their parents would quarrel frequently and the last fight had taken place on Wednesday evening.
The sons were downstairs when the incident took place, it has been learned.
DSP Gautam Mishra, the District Police Office spokesperson, says further investigation is underway.
