Hundreds of locals picketed the Nawalparasi's Area Police Office in Belatari claiming the death of 23-year-old Kaulesh Kahar of Pratappur Rural Municipality- 5, as a murder. They demanded a judicial investigation into the death case. Kahar, who was missing since April 25, was found dead in a field on April 26.

Looking at the body's condition, police declared his death as suicide, agitated locals since then have been protesting by keeping his dead body on the Pratappur Bridge on Triveni Bardaghat Road.
