A meeting held at the District Administration Office of District Covid-19 Management Center, Salyan on April 29, took a decision to impose prohibitory order from 6 am on May 2 to midnight on May 15. All public and private vehicles except the essential ones will remain closed during the prohibitory period while people are allowed to operate food, vegetable, fruit, and dairy shops from 6 am to 9 am and from 5 pm to 7 pm.
Furthermore, other services of government and public offices will also shut down. Those who have returned from outside the district and from India will have to be quarantined by the local level for 10 days. 20 more beds will be added in the isolation operated at the District Hospital Salyan for the treatment as the number of corona infections is increasing. Corona infection has been confirmed in 159 people in the district so far, of which three have died.
