Prohibitiory order to be imposed in Kavre

The district crisis management center is planning to issue a prohibitory order on May 1 that would come into effect from May 2. The center decided to impose the order after the daily number of infected people increased to more than 300. 

The Ministry of Health has declared 22 districts, including Kavrepalanchok, as highly sensitive areas. On April 30 alone, 69 infected people were added in the district and the number of infected people reached 311. Two people died of the infection on April 28.

The local administration is preparing to impose the order from 500 meters to 1 kilometer from the main street and highway under the major cities of the district, Banepa, Panauti, Dhulikhel, Mandandeupur, Panchkhal, and Namobuddha Municipality. Similarly, the order will be imposed within the area of ​​Mangaltar under the BP Highway of Roshi Municipality. Some areas of Panauti, Banepa, and Dhulikhel are becoming the main centers of infection.
