Relatives of a three-year-old Ngimanuru Sherpa of Soludhudhkund Municipality-4 Surke, who died at the district hospital in Phaplu on May 13 while undergoing treatment, have vandalized the hospital. They alleged that the child died due to the delay in the treatment.
The deceased's father, Gelu Sherpa, stated that the child was brought to the hospital on May 12 with diarrhea and vomiting but was sent home by the doctor. However, the child's health began to deteriorate. And the child was brought back to the hospital on May 13 but was only treated after 4 hours.
Police arrested Rishi Raj Dhakal, the deceased's uncle on the charge of vandalizing the emergency room of the hospital. The hospital administration has stated that they have not received any details about the damage caused to the emergency room and other treatment items.
