Police have arrested Khuwalung Conservation activists Dinesh Kamdung Khumbu and Sajan Rai. The Kirat community has been agitated after prime minister KP Oli announced the plan to demolish the Khuwalung stone that holds a cultural and mythical significance to the Kirat community. The two activists were arrested on the complaint of those operating boats on the Saptakoshi river.
