Elderly man arrested on charge of rape

Police arrested a 60-year-old Durgabahadur Damai of Biruwa rural municipality-4, Syangja, on May 25, on the charge of raping a 22-year-old girl.
According to the District Police Office, Syangja, Damai was arrested on the basis of a complaint that he had raped a young woman while she went to the forest to graze goats. Further investigation is underway upon the incident.
