An unidentified group sprayed a flammable substance on Laxmi Bhat, a 28-year-old resident of Rodinge village in Aadarsha Rural Municipality-4, while she was sleeping in her shop. According to police, Laxmi and her 3-year-old daughter Anju have been injured in the fire.
According to police, Laxmi was seriously injured when an unidentified group set her on fire. A police team has been deployed at the spot for a thorough investigation. The victim is undergoing treatment at Sujang Hospital in Dipayal Rajpur and according to doctors, 60 percent of Laxmi's body was burnt by the fire.
According to police, Laxmi's husband Santosh absconded immediately after the incident and the details of the incident will be revealed after the arrest of the absconding husband.
